Requirements

  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in architecture and engineering roles
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles and best practices
  • Experience with cloud computing and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Experience with a variety of technologies and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong focus on quality, performance, and security
  • Experience with agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Ability to stay current with industry trends and advancements
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and drive the architectural vision and strategy that aligns with Qmerit's business goals and objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Design and oversee high-level architectural frameworks and solutions that meet the needs of the business, with a focus on robustness, scalability, and security
  • Provide expert technical guidance and oversight for key projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, best practices, and timeline commitments
  • Work closely with senior leadership, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure architectural practices support business goals and technical requirements
  • Drive a focus on quality, performance, and security across all architectural practices and implementations
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovative solutions, especially using AI, that push the boundaries of current capabilities
  • Conduct regular architectural reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices and strategic alignment
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to support ongoing projects and future initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant insights into the architectural strategy
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, bridging gaps and ensuring a shared understanding of architectural objectives
