Head of Business Development, Remote - Europe

Summary

The Head of Business Development at Aragon is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, identifying and implementing new business partnerships, maintaining relationships with key industry players, staying updated on emerging trends, and communicating with product and engineering teams. The role requires at least 5 years of Business Development experience, crypto-centric power-user status, understanding of DAO governance, and excellent communication skills in English.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience in Business Development
• You are a crypto-centric power-user and web3 native. You use defi regularly
• General understanding of DAO governance and its importance to the crypto industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, with the ability to create and deliver presentations and pitches to potential prospects

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for prospective DAOs building on Aragon
• Work with projects to discern their governance needs and guide them towards a pragmatic and secure solution
• Find, negotiate, and implement new business partnerships that drive DAO creation to the Aragon stack, pushing for billions in $TVL to be migrated
• Maintain and nurture relationships with key players in the industry - prospects, existing users, DAO operators, major delegates, DAO service providers, etc
• Keep up to date on emerging trends in DAOs, DeFi, and adjacent industries. You should have your finger on the pulse
• Build, use, manage, and optimize a comprehensive CRM system to ensure all sales activities and customer interactions are tracked
• Stay abreast on the Aragon product roadmap to keep your client solutions grounded in reality
• Be the voice of your prospective leads, bringing feature requests and insights to the product and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• You already have a crypto-native network of contacts
• Experience working alongside product teams in a distributed startup environment
• You serve or have served as a delegate in a DAO
• You enjoy public speaking
