Summary

Join OKX, a leading crypto exchange, as the Primary Compliance Officer for OKX Argentina. You will serve on the Board of OKX Argentina, represent the Compliance program to regulators and stakeholders, and lead strategic compliance direction in Argentina. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks; engaging cross-functionally to implement an effective compliance management program; and overseeing compliance reviews and investigations. You will also prepare compliance reports and support OKX's exchange in El Salvador. This role requires extensive experience in compliance within financial services or cryptocurrency, specific certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries. Either regulatory/licensing advisory or financial crime or both
• CAMS, ICA, FIBA or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the crypto industry
• Experience and knowledge of relevant Argentinian laws and requirements (AML/CFT, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy) and managing regulatory engagements
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
• Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written , in both English and Portuguese, working knowledge of Spanish

Responsibilities

• Act as the Primary Compliance Officer for OKX Argentina
• Serve on the Board of OKX Argentina
• Represent Compliance program to regulators, core infrastructure partners, and other key external stakeholders
• Lead strategic direction, training and advisory support with regards to Compliance in Argentina
• Develop and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks
• Engage cross-functionally (with groups such as Legal, Licensing, Data, Engineering, Finance, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with the global standards and industry best practices
• Plan for, monitor, and assess compliance with laws, regulations and policies (current and proposed regulatory framework of the CNV, UIF, etc) and similar types of regulation regionally
• Oversee compliance reviews and investigations
• Prepare Compliance reports, including reports to management and the board, and other materials as required by direct and matrix stakeholders and submit timely
• Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Support OKX’s exchange in El Salvador

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a US multinational or matrix environment
• Prior experience working in the crypto industry
