Summary

Join Gusto as the Head of Enterprise Sales for Gusto Pro and spearhead the growth strategy for our largest accounting firm partners. Lead a team of Enterprise Account Managers, Account Executives, and Partner Success Managers to drive revenue and expand GustoPro's footprint. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong partner relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets. Oversee territory and account plans, conduct QBRs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform sales strategies and product development. This remote position requires travel and offers a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or customer success, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience managing relationships with enterprise-sized businesses, ideally within the accounting or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building high-performing sales teams
  • Deep understanding of the accounting firm landscape, including their business models, challenges, and technology needs
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM and Sales Software (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Tableau)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Account Managers, Account Executives, and Partner Success Managers, driving their performance and professional growth
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the enterprise segment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner accounting firms
  • Oversee the development of territory and account plans, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives
  • Drive the execution of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic partner meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, etc.) to optimize GustoPro's offerings and sales strategies
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to inform sales strategies and product development

Benefits

  • Our compensation range for this role is $220,000 to $280,000 OTE (with a 60/40 split between base salary and target commission) in Denver and most other remote locations, and $250,000 to $315,000 OTE in San Francisco and New York City
  • The position can be remote
