Summary
Join Stripe's Recruiting team as the Head of Go-to-Market Recruiting and play a critical role in scaling our revenue-driving teams. You will develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy, lead and mentor a high-performing team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand hiring needs. Data-driven decision-making, strategic guidance, and building strong relationships are key aspects of this role. You will oversee sourcing, recruitment, and selection processes, ensuring diverse candidate slates and interviews. This position requires a proven track record of success in go-to-market recruiting within technology or high-growth environments, along with strong leadership and analytical skills.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on go-to-market recruiting. Experience in technology or high-growth environments is highly desirable
- Proven record of developing and executing successful recruitment strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational growth
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and high performance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
- You have a proven track record of partnering with and influencing senior leaders through insights and data
- An exothermic leader with strong ability to connect and effectively communicate, set context and clarity with people of all levels; exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market recruiting strategy that aligns with Stripeβs ambitious business goals, delivering a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates across all GTM functions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruiting team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that emphasizes innovation, engagement, and accountability
- Oversee the sourcing, recruitment, and selection processes. Utilize data-driven approaches to identify and attract top talent, ensuring diverse candidate slates and interviews for all positions
- Collaborate closely with the executive team and business leaders to understand hiring needs, define success profiles, and create tailored recruitment plans. Provide strategic guidance and insights to enhance the effectiveness of the hiring process
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and make data-informed decisions. Prepare regular reports for leadership on recruitment metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor across Stripe and have an anticipatory lens for upcoming initiatives that match the ambition of an expanding organization
- Build and drive cross-functional partnerships with Compensation, HR, Finance, Strategy and Operations and others
- Partner with other recruiting leaders across Stripe and be deeply engaged as a member of the Global Recruiting Leadership team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling revenue team hiring in a SAAS environment
- You work across multiple teams, set and communicate a direction for the org on a long-term timeframe, actively driving and managing change through all levels of the company
- You act as an industry leader, productively and collaboratively pushing against the status quo in a way that advances Stripe's mission. You also effectively advocate for the org's mission, values, and impact
- You break down complex problems using research and data to identify root causes and identify levers for problem solving
- You collaborate and get other teams on board to collectively problem solve for the good of recruiting overall and potentially other parts of Stripe
- You elevate ambitions and set an example of the standard of your team's work and push others towards greater achievement
- You build and nurture strong, strategic partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional leaders across the orgs your teams support
