Join Valiantys as the new Head of People & Culture for the US and Canada, leading a team of 7 and overseeing Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and People Operations. You will be responsible for delivering the global HR strategy, ensuring it meets regional needs while fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. This role requires exceptional leadership and expertise across all HR domains, including talent management, employee relations, and US labor laws. You will lead regional hiring strategy, own employee engagement and retention, oversee payroll and benefits, and advise senior leaders on organizational evolution. The position involves developing career paths, leading onboarding and M&A integration, and leveraging AI and automation in people operations. Requirements
- 10+ years of HR generalist experience (multi-country team leadership a plus)
- Strong expertise across all HR domains: talent, operations, employee relations, US labor laws (Canada labor laws would be a plus)
- Proven ability to deliver complex HR projects and strategies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in multicultural, hybrid, and matrixed environments
- A human-centric, inclusive mindset with strategic and operational agility
Responsibilities
- Lead regional hiring strategy based on data and market trends
- Partner with Finance for forecasting and pipeline planning
- Own regional employee engagement and retention strategies
- Drive Learning & Development programs to foster continuous growth
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance
- Optimize employee lifecycle processes through automation and AI
- Act as escalation point for sensitive cases and investigations
- Advise senior leaders on organizational evolution and people issues
- Develop career paths and EVP initiatives
- Lead onboarding and M&A integration efforts
- Manage a regional People & Culture team of 7
- Influence and align regional leaders with business and people goals
