Head of Strategic Finance

Summary

Join Rad AI, a leading AI-driven healthcare company, as their Head of Strategic Finance. Reporting to the CFO, you will be a key financial partner to company leaders, driving financial planning, strategic analysis, and crucial decision-making. This role involves building financial models, leading strategic initiatives (pricing, partnerships, etc.), and establishing the Strategic Finance function. You will also build a high-performing team and design effective reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses 7-10+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, or similar roles, with a strong preference for startup/high-growth experience. Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or similar; startup and/or high-growth company experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional modeling skills, business intuition, and executive communication
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence at all levels of an organization
• Comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment—able to toggle between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
• A builder’s mindset: excited to roll up your sleeves and lay the foundation for a function that will scale

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CFO, CEO, and executive team to drive financial planning, strategic analysis, and high-stakes decision-making
• Build our financial models and forecasts to support fundraising, board materials, scenario planning, and long-term planning
• Lead strategic initiatives—pricing, partnerships, capital allocation, new market entry, etc.—to help guide the business through its next phase of growth
• Drive cross-functional planning processes, translating product and business strategy into clear financial implications
• Design and operationalize KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that empower leaders to manage the business effectively
• Establish the Strategic Finance function and build a team of top-tier talent as the company scales
