This role involves owning the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to closing, and collaborating closely with leadership. You will develop proactive sourcing strategies, optimize hiring processes, and sell Sully.ai's mission to candidates. Success requires a proven track record of hiring top-tier engineering talent at early-stage startups and executive search expertise. The ideal candidate is a talent strategist, network builder, and storyteller, passionate about AI and transforming healthcare.

Requirements

  • Experienced Recruiter (5+ Years): Proven track record of hiring top-tier engineering talent at early-stage startups
  • Executive Search Expertise: Deep experience hiring VP and C-suite leaders in engineering, product and design roles
  • Startup Ready: Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and scaling from seed to Series B
  • Talent Strategist: Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business goals
  • Network Builder: Strong personal network of engineering professionals, particularly in SaaS and AI-driven industries
  • Proactive & Data-Driven: Uses metrics and insights to improve sourcing strategies and hiring decisions
  • Storyteller & Closer: Exceptional ability to pitch the companyโ€™s vision and close top candidates
  • Mission-Driven: Passionate about AI and transforming healthcare, even without a direct healthcare background

Responsibilities

  • Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, engage, and close top 1โ€“10% talent for Engineering and Technical roles
  • Executive Hiring Experience: Partner with leadership to hire key executives, including Head of Engineering, Head of QA, VP of Product Design and more
  • Build Talent Pipelines: Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify exceptional passive talent
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and founders, shaping the talent strategy for engineering growth
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Optimize hiring processes, tools, and systems to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Sell the Vision: Articulate Sully.aiโ€™s mission and opportunity to candidates in a competitive talent market
  • Champion Culture: Source and hire talent aligned with Sully.aiโ€™s values of innovation, ownership, and impact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for AI/tech-driven companies
  • Background in building and scaling high performance engineering teams
  • Familiarity with ATS tools like Greenhouse
  • Previous roles in recruiting agencies or executive search firms focused on engineering hiring
