Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in developing and executing total rewards strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth organization. Preferred experience in M&A and integrating compensation programs
  • Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including executive compensation, equity programs, and incentive plans
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with C-level executives and the Board of Directors

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the total rewards strategy, encompassing compensation, benefits, incentives, and recognition programs
  • Ensure total rewards are aligned with the company’s business strategy, values, and goals, focusing on driving employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Benchmark and analyze market data to ensure the company’s rewards programs remain competitive and cost-effective
  • Implement competitive and equitable compensation program, including salary structures, levels and bonus plans
  • Lead the annual compensation review cycle, including salary increases and bonuses
  • Provide consultation to senior management and HR business partners on compensation strategies for attracting and retaining top talent
  • Manage executive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and governance requirements
  • Provide decision support to the Chief People Officer and CEO on Compensation Committee proposals
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of recognition programs and make recommendations for enhancements or changes as necessary
  • Stay informed of trends and legislative requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness in the benefits landscape
  • Evaluate and implement innovative benefits that align with the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals
  • Lead efforts to integrate and merge compensation programs across acquired entities
  • Lead and develop the total rewards team, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with HR leadership, finance, legal, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of total rewards initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools related to rewards, benefits, and compensation
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and to monitor the effectiveness of total rewards programs
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics to the executive team and recommend adjustments to optimize the rewards strategy
