Summary
Join Vanta as Head of Workplace and Teammate Experience and lead core functions to enhance the working experience of all global employees. Scale these functions to support a growing team, anticipating future challenges and building for the future. You will lead Real Estate & Workplace, Internal Events, Physical Security, and Executive Administration functions. Develop and execute a physical security strategy for all offices and facilities. Provide coaching and mentorship to your teams, and continue hiring to scale them. Benchmark best practices across all People Team functions, while rethinking everything from the ground up. This role is remote but requires significant time in offices and travel.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Real Estate, Workplace, Internal Events, and Teammate Experience, with significant experience operating at scale - 1,000-5,000+ headcount
- Impeccable people management skills - every person youβve ever managed should respect you as a leader, coach, and mentor
- A strong analytical mind, and the skill to develop a point of view on any problem quickly and without personal bias
- A data-first orientation in all problem solving
- High resilience and calm, balanced with a high bias toward delivering outcomes quickly
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale our Real Estate & Workplace, Internal Events, Physical Security, and Executive Administration functions, providing the best possible experiences to Vanta teammates to enable them to do the best work of their careers
- In particular, you will focus on anticipating challenges of future scale before they materialize and building for the future
- With our Real Estate & Workplace team, continue to develop, scale, and execute a long term facilities and office strategy, anticipating our in-office attendance and internal events growth as a remote/hybrid mixed team
- With our Internal Events team, continue to build and scale our internal events function and strategy, to improve teammate performance and connection to Vanta
- With our Executive Administration team, continue to scale our long-term strategy for effectively supporting our leaders
- Develop and execute a physical security strategy for all of our offices and facilities
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and support for our awesome Real Estate & Workplace, Internal Events, and Executive Administration teams, and continue hiring A+ teammates to scale them
- Help provide meaningful, and current, benchmarking of best practices across all People Team functions - while not being beholden to any HR playbook and rethinking everything from the ground up in keeping with Vantaβs principles and high level of action-orientation and operational rigor and excellence
