Healthcare Senior Consultant

Summary

The job is for a healthcare consultant at Synergetics, a management consulting firm. Requirements

• Background in healthcare and expertise in healthcare operations including revenue cycle management
• Proven success in optimizing a facility’s ability to deliver high-quality care efficiently and cost-effectively, improve patient outcomes
• 3+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, industry, and/or hands on supervisory experience including coaching, mentorship, and performance management
• Proven critical thinking skills in both data collection and complex analysis
• An entrepreneurial mindset to collaborate with project team members / clients to design and implement effective solutions to complex business problems; continuously evaluate to uncover new opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to create communications that ‘tell the story’; effectively deliver presentations of content in a customer-facing forum
• Business process mapping to document current and potential future state and use of a mapping software such as MS Visio, etc
• Exemplary skills across entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated ability to create Pivot Tables
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis tools

Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand their business/revenue cycle, establish positive relationships, gather and analyze relevant data, identify problems, create reports and presentations, work with clients to define future state requirements, develop performance metrics, create alternative strategies, manage project resources in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management (PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile) or Lean certification preferred

Location - New Jersey. Synergetics employees may reside in any city, however, proximity within one hour of an international-class airport is required. This position will be 50% remote and 50% travel to the New Jersey/New York City area
