Summary

Join our team as a dedicated and detail-oriented individual supporting groundbreaking healthcare research and driving efficiency. Support ongoing research projects, assist with literature reviews, design and implement health economic models, interpret and communicate findings, contribute to reports and publications, and participate in client-facing activities. Optimize internal processes by working with leadership to enhance efficiency and refine research methodologies. The role requires enrollment in a healthcare-related undergraduate or graduate program, proven interest in healthcare, research experience, strong academic record, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in a relevant field, strong understanding of the scientific method, and familiarity with statistical programming tools. The compensation range is estimated to be $20-$20 USD.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a healthcare related undergraduate or graduate program at an academic institution at the time of recruitment
  • Proven interest in healthcare
  • Research experience in health economics, health policy, public policy, epidemiology, public health, operations research, or similar fields
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with exceptional interpersonal and time management skills
  • Keen interest in learning and sharing knowledge
  • Strong academic record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Support impactful research –Support ongoing research projects – assist with literature reviews and evidence synthesis on diverse healthcare topics; help design and implement health economic models; help interpret and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings to internal and external audiences; contribute to memos, reports, evidence tables, presentations and peer-reviewed manuscripts; participate in client facing activities; provide administrative project support
  • Optimize internal processes – Work closely with leadership to enhance efficiency, refine research methodologies, and ensure best practices in our tools and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled in healthcare related advanced degree program, ideally in health economics, health policy, public policy, epidemiology, public health
  • Strong understanding of the scientific method; formal training in quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies
  • Familiarity / competency with statistical programming tool such as R, SAS or similar platform
  • Located on the West Coast United States in the PST time zone
