Summary
Join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)! You will be a trusted advisor to business leaders, developing and implementing people strategies aligned with business objectives. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, training, and employee relations. You will also lead HR initiatives, such as ATS implementation and employer branding, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role requires strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with extensive HR experience in a corporate setting. Success in this position demands a deep understanding of HR principles and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or administration preferred
- At least 8 years of HR experience in a corporate environment, previous management experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of state and federal employment laws, including EEO, ADA/FEHA, FLSA, and FMLA/CFRA
- Understanding of, and experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, leadership development, and training)
- Must possess strong project management, analytical, and process mapping skills, with the ability to interpret HR data, optimize workflows, and lead HR process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence peers and business partners at all levels
- Must possess a consultative style and approach with a proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations
- Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs; develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and business objectives
- Serve as a primary recruiter for the assigned business area, leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn to identify top talent
- Lead and support key HR projects, such as ATS implementation, job architecture, onboarding enhancements, performance management, and/or employer branding
- Provide support and guidance on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, succession planning, compensation, and leadership development
- Drive change management initiatives and continuous improvements in HR operations
- Lead HR components of acquisitions/mergers and expansions due diligence analysis, talent assessment and selection process, communication, and policy establishment
- Promote the department’s shared values, ensure excellence in all areas, and encourage teamwork by coaching and providing support in the department and throughout the organization
- Promote an inclusive and engaging work environment that supports business success
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal, state, and local requirements
