Summary

Join Lemon Platypus, a consultancy specializing in HR systems for SMBs, as an HR Systems Consultant! Based in the Isle of Man or remotely, you'll lead clients through seamless HR system implementations using platforms like HiBob, Employment Hero, and Rippling. You'll collaborate with clients and providers, configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide training. Your HR experience and tech-savviness are crucial for optimizing HR processes and building strong client relationships. This role demands a passion for HR tech, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. You'll continuously learn and adapt to new systems and best practices, ensuring client success.

Requirements

  • Bring 3+ years in HR, whether that’s as a generalist or a specialist (think benefits, payroll, recruitment, or employee relations)
  • Have a solid foundation in HR and understand the ins and outs of the challenges teams face
  • Get how HR processes work and, more importantly, how to optimize them with the right tech solutions
  • Talking with clients, understanding their needs, and translating those into practical solutions comes naturally to you
  • Be approachable, articulate, and know how to make people feel comfortable—even when it’s their first time using a new system
  • Have project management chops, meaning you can juggle tasks, set priorities, and keep projects moving smoothly, even when things get busy
  • Be analytical and love figuring out the “why” behind a problem, then getting to the best solution
  • Have attention to detail that helps you spot issues before they become problems, and be proactive about finding ways to improve

Responsibilities

  • Lead clients through smooth HR system implementations from start to finish
  • Configure systems to match client goals, even implementing directly on behalf of providers
  • Work closely with HR system providers, becoming an extension of their team and learning the ins and outs of their platforms
  • Act as a feedback bridge between clients and providers, sharing insights to continually improve platform performance and client satisfaction
  • Dive into HR challenges and figure out the best ways to translate these into efficient, user-friendly workflows within the system
  • Spot opportunities for improvement, suggest configurations that optimize HR processes, and keep an eye out for ways to make things run even smoother
  • Guide clients through the onboarding journey, making sure they understand their new system and feel comfortable using it from day one
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and HR system providers alike, serving as a go-to resource, trusted advisor, and enthusiastic supporter of their success
  • Stay curious and proactive about learning
  • Dive into new systems, tools, and updates, and be ready to apply that knowledge quickly
  • Keep project plans, system configurations, and training materials clear and organized
  • Create regular status updates, so clients always know where things stand, and document everything for future reference and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have implemented HR systems before, especially platforms like HiBob, Employment Hero, or Rippling
  • Know what it takes to get a system running smoothly and be comfortable learning the details of new platforms quickly
