You will need extensive multi-state HR experience, particularly in California, and strong project management skills. Compensation includes an hourly rate ($54-$60) plus revenue share opportunities.
Requirements
- Ensure that access to confidential information is used responsibly, maintaining the integrity and security of the systems while preventing both accidental and malicious misuse
- Internet speed must be 50 Mbps download & 10 Mbps upload to support our work
- Personal devices, if applicable – Mac/iPad must be within three generations of current. Windows – 10 or above
- Possess 10+ years of progressive multi-state HR experience, resulting in HR Consulting experience
- Have proven multi-state HR experience but must have extensive experience in California
- Have, or quickly develop, the skills to support business development and closing sales
- Have experience developing and facilitating HR training topics
- Demonstrate the ability to be very organized and help keep our documents organized and up to date
- Have experience with the development of special projects, presenting projects to decision makers to get their buy-in, and facilitating special projects, i.e., 360 Review, Employee Handbook Development, Compensation Plans, Special Projects – i.e., Workplace Violent Prevention Plan, etc
- Demonstrate the proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
- Show interest in unconventional lifelong learning
- Have experience in project management, preferably HR related
- Possess in-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices – Multi-state
- Have a solid understanding of research methods and analysis
- Be computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT (ATS, Payroll, etc.)
- Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Work, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Have a semi-private home office with an ergonomic set up. A place to facilitate/attend uninterrupted (as much as possible), sometimes private, virtual meetings
- Understand and apply the Work Smarter, Not Harder concept – balancing fun, creativity, and hard work!
- Live/work in California, Texas, Washington, or Iowa
Responsibilities
- Oversee developing SOPs, templates, and other supporting documents for a variety of billable HR Projects, with other support when applicable
- Develop and facilitate tailored training for the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan
- Conduct 360 Reviews
- Perform Job Analysis
- Develop Organization Structure/Design – Supported by Org Charts and Comp Plans/Career Tracks
- Develop Standalone Compensation Plans/Career Tracks
- Conduct HR Audit vs HR Assessment & Gap Analysis
- Conduct Employee Surveys & Responses
- Develop and deliver HR Training – etc. HR 101 for Supervisors, sexual harassment
- Develop Start Up Client Package Projects/Checklists
- Serve as Expert Advisory Service Program Advisor – This consists of responding to HR questions, reviewing and providing templates, and periodically meeting with Expert Advisory Service clients
- Create client-specific Handbooks/Manuals using RHRH questionnaire and review of client’s previous handbooks/manuals. i.e. Employee handbook, IIPP/safety manuals
- Facilitate various billable projects for all RHRH clients - creating, organizing, and facilitating projects like those listed above
- Explain complex HR matters in a way that non-HR people can understand
- Work with HR vendors/partners to provide clients with a well-rounded HR experience
- Maintain confidentiality handling client and employee information

- Consult with potential clients' decision makers to identify and evaluate human resources needs/challenges and recommend a plan for achieving HR goals by providing assistance to resolve routine or complex business/human resources matters
- Develop & maintain relationships with business decision-makers and referral partners
- Maintain a utilization rate and sales goals that will increase over time
- Use Professional Networking Resources to remain visual to referral partners and potential clients
- Meet with potential client and qualify them for are menu of service offerings. Help them see the value in services that you believe meet their needs, whether that is Fractional HR, Recruiting or HR Projects (which will be your focus)
- Work with Marketing/Sales Coordinator to issue proposals and Client Agreements
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard confidential client and client-employee information
- Provide consultative advice to HR Advisors – trouble-shooting advanced questions, to avoid/limit risk for client and RHH; and assist HR Advisors and clients with plans and techniques to drive change and culture management. Escalating to leadership when needed/necessary
- Oversee development of overhaul and maintenance of RHRH templates; create and maintain HR Advisor SOPs, with Alli using RHRH Technology. Create HR form/document templates and assist with implementation
- Oversee Compliance Notices; as well as write professional HR-related articles, branded and formatted the RHRH way
- Conduct research through various methods and provide clients with findings and applicable advice
- Oversee new RHRH HR staff onboarding in collaboration with CEO & Administrative Business Partner; develop and maintain SOPs and training/onboarding documentation
- Occasionally assist Advisors and clients with HR tasks such as employee relations, recruiting, training, management of personnel, onboarding/offboarding, benefits admin, payroll processing and implementations, reporting, etc
- Stay up to date on new regulations, trends, and HR best practices. Work with legal partners, when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
