Join Octane®'s People Leadership Team as a data analyst, contributing to various people initiatives. You will analyze and present data on diversity, compensation, benefits, and hiring trends, creating dashboards and reports. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a quantitative field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience; specific experience working in HR systems; preferably Paylocity
- Ability to produce HR centric reporting and solid understanding of compensation data reporting
- Strong proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Sheets and Slides), knowledge of Tableau is a plus
- Ability to analyze data and to tell a story with data to non-technical audiences
- A positive customer service focus for our customers
- Ability to present analytically to stakeholders and cross functionally
- Partner on facilitating performance management tools for mid and end of year nuances
- Ability to make judgements and decisions on confidential matters, and plan and manage complex administrative systems and practices
- A keen eye for detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and respond to changing situations in a flexible manner to meet current needs; resiliency to change
Responsibilities
- Analyze and present data and reports for various people initiatives, including Diversity, Compensation, Benefits, Hiring Trends, and Retention and partner with the team on solutions
- Build People Data dashboards, executing on deliverables based on business needs
- Responsible for the technical design and development of system integrations, inbound and outbound, that enhance automation with our various HR system partners; partnering with internal teams as needed
- Prepare the team’s monthly People update presentation to appropriate stakeholders
- Assist with People Team related audits and investigations and following up with relevant parties; ensuring timely and efficient resolutions
- Collaborate with various partners on the People Team to support business needs in data reporting, promptly responding to business needs as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Aon Compensation Database and/or salary.com is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to capable communicate with individuals at all levels and from various backgrounds
