Head of Recruitment, Human Capital Manager

Summary

Join the Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) as a volunteer Head of Recruitment/Human Capital Manager! This home-based role requires approximately 20 hours per week (flexible) and involves coordinating the recruitment cycle, overseeing the recruitment team, and liaising with BCI heads of divisions and members regarding Human Capital/Recruitment policies. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in human resource management, building stakeholder relationships, and managing teams. Experience with GDPR compliance and ATS/recruitment software is also required. This is an unpaid volunteer position offering significant professional development opportunities and networking within the climate change and emerging technologies sectors.

Requirements

• Proven ability in human resource management
• Experience in building constructive relationships with stakeholders
• Experience in working independently and with teams to drive forward projects using one's own initiative
• Previous and/or ongoing experience in Human Capital management
• Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to develop effective working relationships, work flexibly across professional and operational boundaries, and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent English writing
• Close attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing demands under pressure
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
• Experience with ATS and recruitment software

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment at BCI
• Improve the recruitment function at BCI
• Liaise with BCI head of divisions and members regarding Human Capital/Recruitment policies
• Manage the application of GDPR compliance
• Oversee (part of) the recruitment team and BCI HR Operations

Preferred Qualifications

Strong depth of knowledge on topics central to the BCI such as climate change, climate finance, and blockchain technology
