Human Resource Associate

Summary

Join our team as a Human Resources Associate and assist in supporting business units to ensure effective delivery of HR services. Working closely with the Senior Business Partner, Human Resources, and Program Managers, you will coordinate HR services and support various departments within Corporate Services and International Programs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with at least 5 years of progressive HR experience. A strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and thrive in a team environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s Degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience. Previously experience working with an NGO preferred. Experience working with donor funded projects preferred
• Understanding of federal and state employment laws, understanding of HR best practices. Prior experience working in US non-profit projects a plus
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to prioritize tasks, and takes initiative
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Thrive in a team environment
• Be able to adapt to changes in a rapid work environment, manage competing demands

Responsibilities

• Assist in the support of business units to ensure effective delivery of HR services
• Work closely with and under the direct supervision of the Senior Business Partner, Human Resources in coordination with Program Managers
• Support a number of other departments in Corporate Services and will occasionally support International Programs, as needed
