Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of HR experience or relevant work experience
  • Must be local to Austin, TX area
  • Must be able to manage in-person errands in Austin for mail and inventory
  • Extremely detail, process, and results oriented
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, best practices, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, execute multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity
  • Human Resources: 3-5 years experience required

Responsibilities

  • Improve and build upon existing HR policies and processes, recommending proactive measures to Senior Leadership as needed to help us accomplish our long term goals
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and full tax and legal compliance
  • Lead the administration of benefits and wellness plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Create employment contracts and manage team member records
  • Facilitate onboarding efforts for new teammates, ensuring an exceptional new team member experience in order to set everyone up for success on day one
  • Checking the orgโ€™s P.O. Box & managing snail mail
  • Manage the orgโ€™s equipment inventory in central Austin and ship equipment to team members as needed
