Join Acquia's growing global organization as a Human Resources Business Partner based in Costa Rica, primarily working remotely. As a strategic advisor and key member of the global People Team, you will develop and lead People Programs to enhance employee experience and drive business growth. Partnering with employees and leaders at all levels, you will provide strategic guidance, support performance management, and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion. This role requires strong HR expertise, a consultative approach, and excellent communication skills. You will play a vital role in cultivating employee engagement, building community, and ensuring compliance with local and international labor laws.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in an HR Business Partner capacity
- Has built strategic partnerships cross-functionally in a global organization
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, listen, probe and give feedback, as a trusted advisor to the business
- Provides dynamic, positively influential leadership and expertise

Responsibilities
- Work closely with leaders on problem-solving and provide strategic guidance
- Identify trends, make decisions, and recommendations to positively impact results
- Ensure decisions are aligned with Company and Department Strategy as well as the company core values
- Work closely with people leaders and employees on performance management, coaching, and counseling
- Provide feedback to leadership in finding opportunities for greater impact
- Facilitate regional Talent Review Program, succession planning, and follow-up actions
- Reinforce and advise the team around Performance Management Programs, OKR goal setting, and Career Roadmaps
- Develop and implement innovative approaches and programs to continually strengthen employee engagement, build community and retention, with optimizing the remote employee experience in mind
- Foster a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and be a driver of programs in support
- Work in partnership and support the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Global Benefit initiatives, representing these functions as needed in order to collaborate with and develop the broader team
- Cultivate a team environment and strong engagement for the entire People Team
- Support hiring process with Talent Acquisition, facilitate pre-boarding, orientations, support the department onboarding roadmap and Company Onboarding Program(s) and new hire check-ins
- Manage performance and engagement programs, offboarding process and exit interviewing
- Summarize employee feedback and trends as appropriate to our leaders
- Focus on operationalizing process and data integrity
- Maintain compliance with national, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Keep abreast of changes to the law, best practices, and innovative approaches
- Ensure compliance with Costa Rican and international labor laws and company policies
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as needed
Benefits
Primarily working remotely, with ability to travel to Acquiaβs Costa Rica office periodically, as needed
