Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in an IT or technology-focused company
  • Strong understanding of German Labor Laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and German is required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to local site leaders, providing guidance and support on all aspects of people management, including performance management, employee relations, and talent development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and programs that support our business goals and promote employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Support key HR processes such as performance reviews, merit cycle, talent assessments, and ensuring alignment with HR, business goals and best practices
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and organizational effectiveness, leveraging data and insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Act as a champion of our company culture and values, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and supported
  • Partner with the global HR team to ensure consistency and alignment of HR policies, practices, and processes across all functions and locations
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations in the countries where we operate, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal and CA state labor laws and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and local regulations
  • Ensure employees are informed and understand company policies
  • Participate in regular meetings and report on HR activities and challenges
