Human Resources Generalist

Summary

Join our dynamic team at Galaxy as we seek an HR Generalist to join our People team based in London and responsible for the EMEA region. As the primary point of contact for the People Team in the region, you will be responsible for locally managing People Team operations, including employee data updates and maintenance in HRIS system, assisting with benefits administration and reporting, creating a seamless onboarding experience for employees, leading and managing all recruiting activity for London hires, keeping a pulse on morale and employee engagement, and partnering with the broader People Team to make the needs of London employees understood and listened to.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of HR experience, at least 2 years in a recruiting capacity
• Experience handling full lifecycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing and scheduling candidates
• Experience in the financial services, technology or crypto is preferred
• Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS software
• Bachelor's degree
• Proactive, self-starter

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for the People Team in the region
• Locally manage People Team operations including employee data updates and maintenance in HRIS system Assist with benefits administration and reporting
• Create a seamless onboarding experience for employees, running background checks, ensuring new hire paperwork is complete and managing the new hire experience
• Lead and manage all recruiting activity for London hires including campus interns and graduates
• Keep a pulse on morale and employee engagement and actively work to make the experience of London employees the best it can be
• Partner with the broader People Team to make the needs of London employees understood and listened to and vice versa
