Summary
Join MEDVA's growing team as a dedicated Human Resources Specialist focused on healthcare. This role requires HR expertise, preferably with U.S. healthcare (psychiatry) experience, managing various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining compliance. You will facilitate onboarding, maintain employee records, oversee payroll, support HR policy implementation, communicate effectively, and coordinate training. The position offers a competitive hourly rate as an independent contractor, with benefits including in-house medical benefits (after 6 months), quality training at no cost, and permanent work-from-home setup.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- HR experience in the U.S. healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices related to human resources
- Strong understanding of employee relations and experience in conflict resolution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
- Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external partners to resolve HR-related issues
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development initiatives for employees
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with remote team management is a plus
