Summary
Join Datacom as a Hybrid Cloud Pre-Sales Specialist and drive new business and revenue generation, focusing on hybrid cloud solutions. You will support customers in identifying and implementing optimal hybrid cloud products and services. This key role involves designing and advocating for hybrid cloud strategies, setting sales plans, and ensuring successful execution. You will leverage your expertise in key vendor products (VMware, AWS, MS, Red Hat, etc.) and automation to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Requirements
- Possess key vendor product knowledge e.g., VMware, AWS, MS, Red Hat, etc
- Have proven knowledge and experience with automation languages, practices and toolsets
- Possess orchestration expertise in provisioning, private and public cloud, preferably with experience in AWS and Azure automation
- Have proven industry experience, preferably within a large managed services or outsourcing environment
- Be able to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
- Possess analytical, diagnostic, project management and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Be able to tailor presentations according to the needs and varying levels of understanding of different audiences
- Have a strong customer service focus, with an ability to build and maintain lasting customer partnerships
- Possess strong influencing and persuasive ability
Responsibilities
- Provide primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions
- Provide application and technical support
- Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions
- Report only those incumbents with incentives not tied to product sales
- Provide primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions
- Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
