Requirements

  • Ability to instill confidence and influence customers decisions in a consultative manner as a trusted advisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to speak to a variety of different audiences with various levels of technical acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resulting in creative solutioning
  • Ability to multitask many simultaneous projects using strong organizational skills and prioritizes effortlessly
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Main project and technical lead for implementations
  • Deliver the implementation of multiple and concurrent small to medium projects to customers across all verticals (K12, Corporate, Higher Education, and Government)
  • Develops and manages project schedules and budgets and obtains appropriate client and D2L approvals/signoffs
  • Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the project; including financial health and status of the project; all risks, issues, changes; deliverables; etc
  • Undertakes regular status review meetings among members of the project team and clients , produces regular project status reports
  • Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan, including adherence to legally binding requirements and best practices
  • Identifies and assesses risks, severity and impacts by applying company procedures and methodology
  • Manages client's expectations; understands client's point of view and needs while keeping D2L's interests in mind
  • Promotes a Win/Win attitude with the client; follows up and follows through on commitments responsibly
  • Works with their leader and project teams on post-project reviews/lessons learned
  • Conduct consultation workshops with customers to successfully elicit and clearly document requirements
  • Devise technical solutions using D2L and partner products to meet customer requirements , and g uide customers through a successful implementation
  • Operate independently to execute on customer commitments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solution creatively and resolve c hallenges
  • Internal knowledge and process improvement Identify and resolve gaps in processes and documentation
  • Share knowledge gained with peers
  • Keep up-to-date with D2L and partner products and processes
  • Keep up to date with new technology trends to help facilitate client learning solutions
  • Contribute to internal improvement initiatives as required
  • P articipate in o ther billable and non-billable responsibilities as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience with the following technologies is considered an asset: AWS
  • E-commerce solutions
  • API integrations (REST/ JSON)
  • Single Sign-On/Web Authentication
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript
  • SQL
  • PHP
  • Business Intelligence tools ( i.e., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with one or more of the following considered an asset: E-commerce systems
  • SaaS Environments
  • Education or Corporate Training sector
