Summary
Join IXL Learning's Professional Learning team as an Implementation Specialist, Core Curriculum. You will provide implementation services and high-quality professional development (virtual and on-site) to districts, schools, and teachers implementing Takeoff by IXL Math. This full-time remote position (Eastern US) requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in core curriculum adoption, and a passion for improving education through technology. You will deliver engaging professional development, develop implementation resources, collaborate with partners, and use data to drive decision-making. IXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of educational professional development experience
- 2+ years of school or district leadership experience
- Experience teaching elementary math
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
- Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
Responsibilities
- Provide implementation support to districts throughout the core curriculum pilot and adoption process
- Deliver engaging and impactful live and virtual professional development to teachers and administrators β up to 50% possible travel
- Help develop professional development and implementation resources for Takeoff by IXL Math
- Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful implementation
- Use data to drive decision-making and increase customer engagement and usage of IXL
