Summary

Invisible AI is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with automotive manufacturing experience to optimize computer vision technologies for their end-to-end platform, focusing on digitizing manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence across customer facilities, champion lean methodologies, lead system deployments and integration, conduct training, collaborate with various teams, and create thorough documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial engineering role at an automotive manufacturer
  • Solid understanding and experience with Lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies
  • Comfortable learning new software tools and rolling sleeves up to make them work
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Performance Metrics: Establish, monitor and drive measured improvements to key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer deployments
  • Research & Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial engineering, recommending new features, capabilities and improvements to our computer vision platform
  • Kaizen Initiatives: Facilitate and lead cross-functional Kaizen events, driving continuous improvement efforts that have a measurable impact to customer operations
  • Lean Manufacturing: Champion and facilitate the application of lean methodologies with the computer vision platform, identifying opportunities for waste reduction, streamlining operations, and improving process flows
  • System Deployments and Integration: Lead the solution and implementation design, integration, and optimization of our computer vision system in manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
  • Training & Development: Conduct training and direct support for customers to independently apply our computer vision technology to drive operational improvements
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, IT, and Engineering to ensure that vision systems are tailored to specific manufacturing needs and are fully integrated with other systems
  • Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for all processes, systems, project progress and operational improvements

  • The estimated base salary guideline range for this role is $110,000 to $170,000 and may be modified
