Join Continental as a Product Industrialization Manager and lead the strategic management of product industrialization activities at the factory level. You will serve as the crucial link between Central R&D and the factory, contributing to the development of data analysis tools and process improvements. Requirements

  • University degree in technical field - In the field: Rubber Processing, Mixing, Tire Manufacturing, Tire Products
  • Previous experience of minimum 5 years in the technical field
  • PROMT Methodologies, SPS Methodologies, SPC
  • Coordinate and lead projects as Project Manager
  • Proven experience in leading diverse teams
  • Minimum 3 years experience in leading teams
  • Experience working in international/foreign teams
  • Tire manufacturing process
  • Product specific knowledge (component specifications, material component list, component calculation)
  • Design guide knowledge (factory as well as central guide)
  • System knowledge (GUTS, AutoCTL, CTD, Cemcet, Trim, QMis, MCAT)
  • Microsoft Office 365 package
  • Statistical data interpretation
  • Project Management knowledge (SPA, PROMT)
  • Presentation skills
  • English language
  • Knowledge of Continental standards and industrialization procedures (441 process, ESP, SOP, eRN)

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the strategic management of the short, medium and long term activities concerning the industrialization of the product
  • Lay the foundation and lead the organization to create and improve production process specifications
  • Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for data and production process analysis tools
  • Monitor the execution level of ETOs and ISDs, including implementation of new manufacturing technologies
  • Be responsible for product industrialization strategy development and implementation
  • Initiate or leads strategic projects
  • Lead employees, comply with the employee evaluation process and coordinates their activities
  • Conduct mentoring sessions and facilitate the training and integration of employees in the team
  • Serve as an expert on the different functions of materials and components in obtaining the final product
  • Ensure planning and execution of ETO tire construction in accordance with Central requirements and factory capacity
  • Establish methods/procedures to support ETO quality and efficiency in accordance with factory and Corporate standards
  • Ensure timely introduction of new technologies to support new item introduction
  • Seek new solutions to improve efficiency, reduce complexity and cost
  • Prioritize and plan SOP phase in accordance with Central requirements and factory capacity
  • Coordinate and monitors the progress of the SOP (Start of Production) phase and ensures implementation of improvement measures
  • Monitor limited production and identifies quality improvement measures to ensure successful and timely completion of the limited production phase (second approval)
  • Initiate risk assessment of new technologies
  • Maintain a balance between new technologies and complexity on the factory floor
  • Develop new product quality improvement guidelines
  • Collaborate with Design, Process and Production to solve product and production problems
  • Manage the introduction of new products and technical production support for a specific product in the product group, after the transfer from design to in-house production
  • Lead strategic projects and is a member of external/internal projects
  • Support continuous improvement of projects in the factory as well as those coordinated by the R&D department
  • Implement cost efficiency measures
  • Continuously monitor and minimize the cost of individual items by observing the instructions of the construction process
  • Develop new solutions, methods and instructions for the construction process to improve process and product quality
