Industrial Water/Wastewater Technical Manager in Worldwide

Summary

Woodard & Curran is a national engineering firm seeking a motivated senior professional with 15+ years of experience to join their Industrial Water/Wastewater Business as a Senior Technical Manager. The candidate will provide technical leadership, develop client relationships, contribute to proposal preparation, conduct research and innovate, mentor staff, and make presentations. A M.S. degree in Engineering with a preferred certification/advanced degree is required, along with industrial client engineering experience, strong communication skills, and commitment to safe work practices.

Requirements

• M.S. (P.E. or other certification/advanced degree preferred) in Engineering
• 15+ years of professional experience with an engineering consulting firm
• Demonstrated experience serving industrial clients
• Strong appreciation of and commitment to safe work practices is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership to staff in the Industrial Water/Wastewater Business
• Develop and maintain client-advisor relationships that lead to business and repeat business for the firm
• Assist and or lead on proposal preparation and pursuit of new client and project opportunities
• Contribute to new and existing Large Account development and management
• Make national and regional-level technical publications & presentations and serve in professional technical leadership positions in outside organizations
• Conduct research and innovate within project opportunities to implement new and improved methods to execute solutions for our work
• Develop and or lead the development of tools to assist in demonstrating Woodard & Curran’s technical leadership
• Ensure the technical quality of the work product delivered
• Mentor staff in technical and project management skill areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial client engineering and/or design build expertise, preferably in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical/chemical and/or data center markets. life sciences, and / or consumer products markets
• Strong written and verbal skills and demonstrated track record of publishing technical work
