Summary

Join Sprout Social's Marketing team as an Industry Marketing Strategist and play a key role in empowering customers and driving business growth. Collaborate closely with Sales and Success teams to generate leads, accelerate pipelines, and expand current accounts across various industries. Develop and execute vertical marketing strategies, manage multiple marketing programs, and collaborate with sales teams to understand market nuances. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience, including event planning and campaign management, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including event planning, campaign management, and sales partnership
  • Comfortable and flexible in a fast-paced environment with a "quick start" mentality and high productivity, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative and organized and have the ability to multitask and handle pressure
  • Ability to travel as needed for in-person engagements, which may include long periods of socializing

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple digital and in-person marketing programs with strong organization and attention to detail
  • Execute industry marketing plans aligned with vertical marketing goals, including trade shows, outbound plays, ABM plays, executive activations, and virtual/in-person events
  • Explore ABM 1:few campaigns, including target account selection, personalized content, and engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand market nuances and drive industry-specific go-to-market programs
  • Ensure all prospects and clients receive an on-brand, best-in-industry experience
  • Travel to events to execute on-site activations, collect customer feedback, and assist on-site teams with their goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity/experience marketing to one or more of the following industries: Higher Education, Government, Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Healthcare, Financial Services, Professional Sports, Insurance, and/or Pharmaceutics
  • Knowledge of long sales cycles and how to deploy marketing tactics over time to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and design aesthetically pleasing collateral
