This role involves responding to inbound leads, generating free trials, and qualifying appointments for sales teams. You will also spend time identifying and qualifying new opportunities for the Channel Account Team. The position requires 3+ years of technology inside sales experience and a bachelor's degree. Success in this role demands strong communication, goal-setting, and the ability to work remotely.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technology inside sales experience
- Background in storage and backup a plus
- Self-starter, comfortable with cold calling
- Enthusiastic about the challenge of working at a start-up
- Communicates professionally verbally, and in writing
- Disciplined about planning and setting goals
- Able to work remote with home office
- Bachelorβs degree
Responsibilities
- Respond to warm inbound leads by email and phone
- Close opportunities for small business leads by completing the end-to-end sales cycle
- Encourage your customer base to expand their cloud storage usage
- Call on warm outbound leads in defined target markets
- Develop strong customer rapport and trust
- Generate free-trial accounts and qualified appointments for sales teams
- Capture detailed data in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Database
