Summary

The job is for a Math Instructional Designer at Kiddom, an educational platform company that promotes student equity and growth. The role involves creating interactive question types, designing curriculum-aligned lesson presentations, authoring/editing supplemental resources, reviewing content, collaborating with managers, organizing work based on team member expertise, providing project updates, and troubleshooting when necessary.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of K-12 math classroom teaching experience
• Strong empathy for educators
• Passion for improving education equitably
• 3+ years of instructional design experience - specializing in math
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative problem solving

Responsibilities

• Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform
• Develop and implement protocols for instructional/graphic design of curriculum-aligned lesson presentations
• Author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum
• Review content and provide Quality Assurance feedback to Kiddom’s growing contractor network
• Other assigned tasks as needed to meet project deadlines and deliverables
• Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
• Assist in organizing work based on team member expertise, experience, and workload
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and problem solve when situations do not align with usual processes

Benefits

• $60,000 - $100,000 a year
• Hourly rate or Salary is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process
