Requirements
- Degree level or postgraduate qualifications are desirable, particularly in a relevant field
- Proven experience as an instructional designer, instructor or content creation or similar for a minimum of 1.5 years
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools
- Experience developing lessons, curricula and small training programs
- Worked for a software company in a similar position
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
- Collaboration skills and ability to work with SMEβs
- Give and take constructive feedback
- Ability to evolve and adapt with change
- Good organisation skills with ability to prioritise
- Presentation skills
- Influencing skills
- Creative thinker and innovator
- Good networker
- Knowledge of ID methodologies and technologies
- MS tools β Excel, Powerpoint, Word
- Camtasia studio or other development tools
Responsibilities
- Attend stakeholder/SME meetings with either the Project Manager or Lead ID to understand requirements and input into solutions best suited for the customer needs, using the processes developed
- Design and develop training and curricula supported by the Lead ID
- Develop interactive and immersive content utilizing all tools available
- SME collaboration and knowledge transfer
- Develop content that delivers high CSAT scores
- Recommend technologies and methodologies for creating content
- Identify service improvements in processes and other areas
- Maintain and update learning content
- Be an advocate and carry the flag for quality and innovation in our content
- Provide support services for content where required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management
- Additional formal and professional training with certifications in areas such as LMS or Instructional Design principles and leadership are beneficial
