Requirements

Admission (or awaiting admission) to practice in either New York or New Jersey

Responsibilities

• Issue coverage opinions and analyze liability and damages with respect to underlying EPL claims
• Identify coverage issues and defenses and provide coverage advice and recommendations to clients
• Monitor EPL claims in various stages from inception through resolution, including complex litigation in courts worldwide
• Work with policyholders and defense counsel concerning claim resolution strategy and participate in settlement negotiations, mediations and arbitration of claims
• Work cooperatively with others
• Interact with clients, brokers, policyholders and defense counsel on a daily basis

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance experience and/or experience with employment-related matters a plus, but not required
