Insurance Support Specialist

Summary

Join our team as an HMGA Insurance Support Specialist and contribute to protecting the future of educators by supporting a sales team offering non-Horace Mann products. You will play a key role in assisting customers and agents with inquiries, resolving servicing needs, and ensuring quality and compliance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of college or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain an insurance producer license. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of college or equivalent business experience
• Ability to obtain an Insurance Producer License and Non-Resident License within six months of hire (must be maintained thereafter)

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of HMGA (TPV) products and processes
• Assist customers & agents with inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
• Work directly with customers, agents, and partner carriers via phone & email to resolve servicing needs
• Research, process, and resolve moderately complex inquiries within established guidelines
• Maintain quality and compliance within every interaction by adhering to all applicable company and state rules and regulations
• Provide timely follow-ups on customer inquiries to ensure accurate completion

Preferred Qualifications

Property and casualty insurance experience
