Intacct Administrator

Summary

Join ButterflyMX as an Internal Sage Intacct Expert and become the go-to resource for internal teams, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth post-implementation operations. You will provide support for user management, configure and customize Intacct, and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities. Proactive engagement with stakeholders, enhancement testing, and maintaining detailed documentation are key responsibilities. You will also support additional financial systems and ensure SOX compliance. This role requires extensive Intacct experience and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Intacct
• Proven Intacct administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom objects, API calls, workflows, reports, and dashboards
• Experience creating custom reports and data analytics
• Experience gathering business requirements and enhancement requests
• Ability to communicate efficiently and cross functionally to tackle large complex projects
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies with a detailed understanding of SOX internal controls
• A problem-solver attitude, always looking for ways to optimize workflows and find workarounds when challenges arise
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with a team when needed
• Intacct Accounting Specialist or Implementation Specialist Certifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to Sage Intacct expert for internal teams, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and ensuring smooth post-implementation operations
• Provide support and guidance for user management, roles, permissions, and security settings
• Configure and customize Intacct to align with business requirements, including developing workflows, scripts and automations
• Analyze processes, risks, and controls related to Intacct to identify improvement opportunities, recommend actions that are pragmatic and achievable, and partner with management to resolve deficiencies
• Proactively engage with our Business Systems Owner, finance, accounting, sales operations and IT management to stay current with strategic initiatives that may impact the Intacct platform
• Ensure all new and/or modifications to interfaces between the ERP system, CRM, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Billing System and other external systems are evaluated, mapped, and tested for proper control and functionality
• Establish and maintain detailed process documentation and workflows to ensure proper understanding of Intacct configuration, system interfaces and data flows
• Assist in the maintenance of 3rd party applications connected to Intacct, including Qstock (WMS) & HighRadius (Billing)
• Assist with coordination of user access reviews, monitoring controls, and SOC report assessments including providing guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOX requirements
• Oversee data quality within Intacct, implementing rules, audits, and automation to maintain data integrity
• Proactively plan for security updates, maintenance, and performance monitoring to ensure optimal system functionality
