Summary
Join MagicSchool, a leading generative AI platform for teachers, and lead our international expansion efforts. You will spearhead the development and execution of global partnerships, driving direct deals with major institutions and ministries of education. This role demands strategic thinking and hands-on execution, building scalable models for future growth. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure international compliance and localization. Success requires a proven track record in securing large-scale education partnerships outside the U.S. and strong cross-cultural communication skills. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on global education.
Requirements
- A track record of securing and managing large-scale education partnerships outside the U.S., either directly or through partners
- Comfort operating with limited precedent—building playbooks where none exist, teaching internal teams what international scale looks like
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to navigate procurement, privacy, and operational hurdles across diverse regions
- Strategic thinker who is also hands-on—willing to lead deals personally while building a replicable model for future growth
- 5+ years of experience in international sales, partnerships, or channel development, ideally in K–12 EdTech
Responsibilities
- Launching and managing strategic channel, reseller, and implementation partnerships across key international markets
- Driving deals directly with large international school networks, country-level education systems, and anywhere opportunities are significant
- Building and iterating on our go-to-market approach for international partners, including pricing, enablement, co-marketing, and support
- Collaborating with internal teams (Product, Legal, Privacy, Support) to ensure readiness for international compliance, localization, and delivery
- Serving as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor to our most important international partners, from deal close through sustained impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with global education procurement cycles and regulatory environments (e.g., GDPR, data sovereignty)
- Experience with both direct sales and partner/channel-led models
- Fluency in languages beyond English, especially Spanish, Arabic, or French
- Experience with implementation or onboarding of EdTech solutions in low-bandwidth or resource-constrained settings
- Exposure to district-level or national-level education leaders in LATAM, MENA, Europe, or Asia-Pacific regions
Benefits
- Work on cutting-edge AI technology that directly impacts educators and students
- Join a mission-driven team passionate about making education more efficient and equitable
- Flexibility of working from home, while fostering a unique culture built on relationships, trust, communication, and collaboration with our team - no matter where they live
- Unlimited time off to empower our employees to manage their work-life balance. We work hard for our teachers and users, and encourage our employees to rest and take the time they need
- Choice of employer-paid health insurance plans so that you can take care of yourself and your family. Dental and vision are also offered at very low premiums
- Every employee is offered generous stock options, vested over 4 years
- Plus a 401k match & monthly wellness stipend
