Join Tekmetric as a Partner Manager and cultivate strategic partnerships within the automotive industry. You will directly manage existing partnerships, focusing on increasing partner and customer adoption of the Tekmetric platform. Responsibilities include evaluating potential opportunities, executing deals, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and building relationships with C-level executives. Success requires a creative sales approach and a proven track record of exceeding sales objectives. This role offers the chance to shape the platform's partnership strategy and build scalable engagement models. The ideal candidate possesses extensive automotive industry experience and a strong understanding of auto repair shop operations.
Requirements
- A consistent track record as a top performer, meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives
- 5+ years on the service side of the automotive industry (must have strong industry knowledge, especially a strong understanding of what shop owners go through and who our customers are)
- Analytical ability to drive strong commercial outcomes for both Tekmetric and our partners
- A high level of energy, creativity, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalism
- A strong aptitude for quickly building rapport with prospects
- A self-starter attitude with solid organizational, logistical and planning skills
- Ability and flexibility to travel frequently
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and nurture an established partnership to enable our partners’ success, increase theirs - and their customers’ - adoption of Tekmetric, strengthen our relationship, and execute on our overall sales strategy
- Evaluate the strategic and economic impact of potential opportunities with the partners and prioritize your efforts based on impact
- Run point on all aspects of deal execution, from deal structuring to negotiating and legal contracting
- Collaborate internally with key stakeholders including marketing, sales, product, and more
- Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives, while orchestrating the right executive touch points as well
- Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years partner sales experience preferred
- Previous SaaS experience preferred
- Previous experience successfully presenting to smaller audiences preferred
