Interpreters English-Laotian in Lao People's Democratic Republic

Summary

The job is for Language Interpreters who are native speakers of Laotian, Karen, Hmong, or Khmer with good command over English. The job involves interpreting calls from English to the native language and vice versa on a permanent night shift. The work can be done from home on a 1-year contract.

Requirements

• Excellent English and Fluent in their respective native language (Able to read & write)
• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions
• Must be working from home 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client(shift will fall anytime between 8pm – 8 am Malaysia Time)
• Own home internet (stable internet), minimum of 10MB download and 5MB upload speed
• Must own either IOS 15 or higher for iPhones, OS 12 or higher for Android phones
• Willing to work permanent night shift and must be willing to work on public holidays / and weekends

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol avoiding omissions or additions

Benefits

• Salary: RM 30 Per hour/ around RM 4800.00 per month approximately ( Malaysian Ringit)
• Annual leave(12 days), MC + Hospitalization Leave
• Entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day
• Public holiday, and off days will be as per country served. (US and Malaysia)
• Paid replacement leaves
