Remote Interpreter

Summary

Join our team as a Language Interpreter and work from home in a permanent night shift role. No experience is needed, and 1 month of training is provided with a training allowance. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• Excellent English and Fluent in their respective native language (Able to read & write)
• Own home internet (stable internet), minimum of 10MB download and 5MB upload speed
• Must own either IOS 15 or higher for iPhones, OS 12 or higher for Android phones
• Huawei/Samsung A-series – phone models are not allowed due to compatibility issues. Ipad nor tablet are allowed to be used during training

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly
• Conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol avoiding omissions or additions
• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the call at all times
• Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours
• Follow client instructions, in compliance with protocol to ensure client expectations are met with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP), avoiding interaction with the LEP without client’s permission
