Summary
Kimmeridge is hiring a Managing Director for its Investor Relations team. The candidate will be responsible for developing fundraising strategies, managing relationships with investors, communicating investment opportunities, coordinating with senior management, and providing market intelligence. They should have a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience dealing with investors, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the alternative asset management space, preferably in energy or real assets.
Requirements
- A bachelorβs degree in business, finance, or accounting
- 10+ or more years' experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community
- Familiarity with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A strong understanding of the alternative asset management space, competitor activities, and industry dynamics; energy or real assets experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Craft and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve or exceed fundraising targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, with a focus on pension funds and consultants
- Develop investor confidence and belief in the companyβs vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value
- Clearly communicate investment opportunities, fund strategies, and performance updates to investors
- Work closely with the firmβs senior management and investment teams to align fundraising activities with overall firm strategies and investment priorities
- Continuously monitor the investment landscape, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics. Provide insights and recommendations to the firm's leadership to inform strategic decisions
- Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards. Uphold the firm's commitment to transparency and integrity in all interactions
