IT Coordinator

Summary

Join Opal Group, a leading organizer of virtual and live conferences for executives, as our IT Coordinator. This role offers a hybrid work model (70% remote, 30% on-site) and involves providing comprehensive PC, technology, and troubleshooting support across the organization. You will coordinate software, hardware, and services for remote employees and contribute to technology logistics during corporate conferences. The position requires strong IT support experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Travel to conferences is required. Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in IT support and/or remote set-up
• Availability to travel to our conferences (with proper and valid travel documentation)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with and relate to all levels within and outside the organization
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and services
• Administer current and new user accounts for domain access, phones, emails, and other services or products
• Coordinate with vendors for repair, replacement, and maintenance of hardware, software, and Technology services
• Utilize market research and competitive intelligence practices to make recommendations that enable the company to improve technology infrastructure
• Support the technology department with day to day projects and tasks
• Offer company-wide office support for all items related to technology
