Summary

Join European Dynamics as an IT Documentation Expert, working remotely within the EU. You will be part of a development team collaborating with a major client's IT team. Responsibilities include drafting, updating, and maintaining IT documentation for internal networks, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with security standards. You will document Windows and Linux systems, support audits, and apply PMΒ² and PILAR methodologies. This role requires a university degree in IT, 10+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years in technical writing, and specific certifications. Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing for IT systems, networks, or cybersecurity
  • Strong experience in documenting Windows and Linux-based IT systems, including security policies and system architecture
  • Experience with PMΒ² project management methodology and PILAR risk assessment framework
  • Experience with IT security standards, compliance requirements, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Proficiency in technical documentation tools
  • Understanding of network security, system administration, and IT governance frameworks
  • The following certifications are required: PM2 and/or Pilar certification

Responsibilities

  • Draft, update, and maintain IT documentation for internal networks, including system architecture, configurations, security policies, and operational procedures
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness of documentation to support IT administrators and security personnel
  • Maintain consistency in formatting and terminology across all documentation
  • Document IT systems based on Windows and Linux architectures, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards
  • Provide documentation for both online and standalone systems, some of which may be classified and require adherence to strict security protocols
  • Ensure documentation follows client security standards and aligns with best practices for classified IT systems
  • Support audits and security assessments by providing clear and structured documentation
  • Apply PMΒ² (Project Management Methodology) and PILAR (risk assessment and security methodology) as a basis for structuring documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a public sector, governmental, or EU institution environment would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with classified or restricted IT environments is a strong asset
  • Excellent command of the English language is required and knowledge of an additional EU language will be considered an asset
