Summary

Join Glia's growing team as an IT Manager, leading and scaling the Internal Client Engineering team. You will oversee onboarding, technical support, and IT infrastructure maintenance, collaborating with internal stakeholders and your team to ensure efficiency, security, and user satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. You will manage a global team, develop IT strategies, and work closely with security and compliance teams. Requirements

  • Located & willing to work in EST (Eastern Time Zone)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a global team of Internal Client Engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process for new employees
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with Glia's overall business objectives
  • Manage and optimize the global team's processes, tools, and technologies
  • Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to define and achieve quarterly Objectives and Key Results
  • Oversee the management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud-based services
  • Ensure the team maintains high standards of customer service and technical support for all Glianeers
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve IT operations
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT services and equipment
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools
  • Familiarity with Python and scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products and AWS command line
  • ITIL, ITSM, or other relevant IT management certifications
  • Experience working with and leading a global team (Europe and North America)
