IT Service Coordinator

Summary

Join AFRY, a leading European engineering, design, and consulting firm with a global presence, and support IT services for offices in Austria and remote users. As part of a team transforming from technical specialists to an agile IT service coordination team, you will coordinate global and local IT services, improve service through stakeholder communication, plan and implement IT projects, provide user support, and build relationships with local contacts. This role requires collaboration with the Head of IT Austria, global AFRY IT, outsourcing partners, and regional service providers. You will actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of IT services and processes. The position offers a versatile role in a sustainable and internationally oriented company.

Requirements

• Have several years of professional experience in the IT sector and sound knowledge in the areas of end-user computing, servers, networks, and IT operations
• Ideally, you have already worked in a centralized IT service organization and have experience in managing outsourced technical services
• You have already independently managed technical services and associated services
• You are used to working in international and virtual teams
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
• You have sound know-how regarding network technologies and network components
• You are characterized by social competence, personal responsibility, and a proactive working style
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and can actively participate in meetings

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of IT services for users in Austria and remotely, collaborating with the Head of IT Austria
• Actively contribute to the transformation of the team from technical specialists to an agile IT service coordination team
• Coordinate centralized global IT services in close coordination with global AFRY IT, outsourcing partners, and local services with regional service providers
• Proactively improve local and global IT service through continuous exchange with internal stakeholders in Austria
• Plan and implement local IT projects and participate in international projects
• Support users with the help of the service desk and assist with problems
• Build sustainable relationships with local contacts and continuously optimize the process for IT service needs assessment
