IT Systems Support Intern (Infrastructure - CI/CD)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic CI/CD Engineer Intern to join our dynamic technology team. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code.
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
• Support the integration of automated testing and deployment tools.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices related to CI/CD.

Candidate Background and Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Course work towards a degree in Computer Science, Software development, Information Systems, or other related major.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and written.
• Very strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and present assignments concisely and accurately.
• Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently (maintaining accountability over the task at hand).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

The salary for the position is expected to be from $28 per hour to $32 per hour. The actual salary will depend on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and credentials, salary expectations of applicable candidates, and other applicable market conditions. This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast (Tuesday) and lunch (Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.

Note: A housing stipend may be available for interns who live outside of the New York metropolitan area and move to the New York metropolitan area for the internship, subject to certain conditions.
