Summary

Join IT Concepts, Inc. as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level Information Technology (IT) Technical Recruiter. Lead and support end-to-end talent acquisition for technical roles. You will develop and implement recruitment strategies, source and engage candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5-10+ years of IT technical recruitment experience, and familiarity with various technologies. This is a remote position based in the US with EST hours and potential travel. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or preferred in technical discipline- IT focus, data analytics, engineering, etc
  • 5-10+ years of experience in IT technical recruitment, with demonstrated success in filling SME and senior-level positions
  • Proven track record of recruiting for diverse technical roles across industries
  • Familiarity with information technology concepts, programming languages, processes, and technologies such as Python, Java, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and others
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements into recruitment strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRMs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR management software
  • Analytical skills to assess recruitment data and workforce trends
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Federal Government Contracting experience with Proposals, Contingent, and New award processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own
  • Ability to adapt to changing staffing requirements, manage recruitment challenges, and develop creative solutions to meet short-term and long-term staffing needs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract highly skilled IT professionals across various technical domains, including software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, AI, DevOps, and more
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to identify workforce needs and refine job descriptions for technical roles
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, professional networks, and niche job boards, to identify and engage passive and active candidates
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
  • Conduct in-depth technical interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create role-specific assessments and align hiring decisions
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Develop targeted recruiting campaigns to attract qualified candidates for transition-critical roles
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights into market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and internal teams, ensuring a seamless interview and hiring process
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and organizational recruitment standards, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and data privacy regulations
  • Track key metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and sourcing channel effectiveness, providing regular updates to leadership
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in IT and recruitment, including advancements in AI, machine learning, and technology-specific labor market trends
  • Serve as an SME by advising on emerging recruitment tools and techniques to optimize hiring efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Experience with large-scale hiring initiatives or project-based staffing
  • In-depth knowledge of federal hiring laws, DoD-specific recruitment policies, and procedures, including EEO guidelines and veteran preference programs
  • Ability to assess current workforce capabilities, predict future staffing needs, and create strategic recruitment plans to address those needs effectively
