Summary
Join MUI's People & Talent team as a driven Technical Recruiter to attract, engage, and hire top-tier talent across various functions. You will play a crucial role in scaling our remote-first, open-source organization. The role involves full life-cycle recruiting, managing candidates through the interview process, collaborating on best practices, and building a diverse team. You will also manage pipeline activity, analyze KPIs, scale a lean team, and own Employer Branding and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. This is a remote position with preference for UTC-6 to UTC+5, offering competitive compensation and benefits. MUI is a leading open-source company with a growing ecosystem of React UI products.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of recruiting experience, with a strong background in technical R&D hiring
- Confidence with assessing the complexity and impact of a candidateโs work โ not just what they built, but how and why it mattered
- Ability to establish credibility and trust with diverse groups (candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders)
- Proficiency in sourcing candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and other industry-specific tools
- Comfortable using data to understand whatโs working and suggest improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ideally Ashby) to manage pipelines, automate workflows, and keep hiring visible and on track
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and own full life-cycle recruiting
- Attract and engage top talent in creative, targeted, and meaningful ways
- Manage candidates through the entire interview process (sourcing, updating candidate pipeline, coordinating interviews, setting expectations, etc.) while maintaining an excellent candidate experience
- Collaborate with internal team members on recruiting best practices and ways to improve hiring
- Actively work towards building a diverse team and ensure fairness in hiring practices
- Regularly manage pipeline activity and analyze KPIs for recruiting
- Scale a lean team to support growth
- Own Employer Branding and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the open-source community or developer tools space
- Experience recruiting for remote-first companies
- Fluency with AI tools that support sourcing or decision-making
- Previous experience recruiting and scaling an early-stage team
