Japanese to English Translator

Summary

Join Keywords Studios, a leading international technical service provider to the global gaming industry, and become a freelance Japanese to English translator. We are expanding our team and seeking professional, experienced candidates. Successful candidates will complete onboarding after a translation test and document review. This freelance position offers flexible time and remote work. Excellent English (native level) and extensive Japanese knowledge are required, along with a university degree or equivalent translation experience and at least 3 years of localization experience. Gaming localization expertise or a passion for Keywords' business is also needed.

Requirements

• Possess excellent knowledge of English (mother tongue level is a must)
• Have extensive knowledge of Japanese
• Hold a university degree or equivalent professional experience in translation
• Have minimum 3 years of localization proven experience
• Demonstrate gaming localization expertise and/or an avid passion for Keywords core business

Responsibilities

• Work on top video game titles
• Organize work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Show computer skills (experience with translation tools and TM/Terminology management is a plus)
• Have professional affiliation (a plus)
