Jr. Project Manager in Canada

Summary

Granicus is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their GovService Software Implementation team. The role involves managing software deployment projects, overseeing successful implementation of the govService platform for government clients, and ensuring clients receive appropriate training. Candidates must be Canadian citizens with at least 10 years of stable Canadian residency and able to obtain a 'Secret'-level Canadian government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and small software deployment projects, and cross-product, platform implementations, from start to finish
• Create project plans aligned to client software and platform implementation goals
• Discover and assess client business processes - anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Steer requirement gathering sessions, both internal and external
• Write user stories ensuring acceptance criteria are clearly defined and verify it matches the requirements
• Create test plans and facilitate user acceptance testing of custom-built services
• Documentation – assist with the creation and maintenance of current and future state process maps, functional requirements, user interface requirements, etc
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and other relevant project documentation
• Identify risks and mitigation – as early as possible
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and provide feedback to the team
• Work closely with Process Designers (internal “builders”) to advise on progress and ideate
• Serve as an advisor to the client as they improve their online processes – keeping the client experience top-of-mind at every turn

Benefits

• $60,000 - $70,000 a year + bonus and benefits
• Security Requirement: Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
