Junior Consultant

Summary

Join our Environment and Health Department as our new EHS junior consultant and contribute to a sustainable future. This role requires 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, Transaction, and Corporate Services, with a focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence in M&A. You will execute EHS due diligence, compliance audits, risk assessments, and ESG reviews. The position offers a flexible hybrid work pattern from our Rome or Milan office. Requirements

• A Master level university degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental/Chemical engineering, Environmental Science or similar
• Knowledge and familiarity with D. Lgs. 81/2008 and D. Lgs 152/2006, ASTM standards
• Fluent in Italian & English both spoken and written
• 2-3 years’ experience in Compliance, Transaction and Corporate Services as a broad area, with specific focus on Health & Safety compliance and due diligence work in the M&A sector with emphasis on EHS assessment, planning and strategy

Responsibilities

• Execution of Environmental and/or Health and Safety Due Diligence
• Execution of EHS compliance audits
• Execution of H&S Risk Assessments and review of H&S Plan
• Execution of ESG review
• Taking direct part in the assignments, with direct interaction with Clients and third parties (e.g. lawyers, advisors, vendor/buyer, regulators) and implies strong soft skills (e.g. negotiation, communication, strategic vision) and capabilities in problem-solving and teamwork
• Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language

Preferred Qualifications

• A third language (e.g. German, Spanish, French)
• Knowledge of the decommissioning, REACH and CLP regulation
